What reviewers said about each Mac

Short quotes from 203 articles, from 9to5Mac, AppleInsider, Ars Technica, Engadget, Expert Reviews, Laptop Mag, Macworld, Notebookcheck, Six Colors, Stuff, T3, TechRadar, The Verge, Tom's Guide, Trusted Reviews and Wired only, set out under 95 Macs. Each quote is word for word, links to its article, and was checked against it. There are no scores, no stars and no averages.

Macs with reviews

Pages with fewer than three usable reviews, or none of the exact model, stay out of search engines until more exist. Nothing is added to make up the number.

How the quotes are chosen

Some articles cover more than one Mac, so there are 230 entries: 100 of the exact Mac whose page they are on and 130 of a sibling configuration (the same chassis with a different chip or size, or a review that does not state the base chip with its CPU and GPU core counts), which speak to design only. 38 of the 95 Macs have no review of that exact model.

A quote is shown only if it stands on its own: its subject, its comparator and any qualifier that sizes or reverses it are inside the quote, within 30 words. Where that cannot be done the finding is left out.

Where a reviewer’s own battery or brightness figure can be set beside an Apple claim it is, and the page says whether the two tests are the same kind.
